I'm going to give a go at a somewhat critique here...(I had an orange tabby named Simba!)
Vision: Like most photos of Simba, his eyes are the biggest focal point. They are shiny and have a reflection in them.
Originality: The photo is really original. The focal point is great, and the colors are really soft, giving a nice relaxed feeling to the photo.
Technique: The photographer could create a reflection to bring out more emotion to the photograph in his eyes, but just the way they are is lovely. The viewer may get distracted by the person's hair though, which is still in focus.
Impact: The viewer easily says "aww" when they see this picture. The kitten's eyes give the viewer a sense of innocence and they are drawn in by this. They instantly want to be with the kitten in real life to hold and snuggle with it like the person photographed.
I LOVE this photo. I have a 'little' orange tabby just like this one only mine has grown up and is HUGE! I miss the days when he was just a little kitten grabbing my jeans.
